What the CFAB does is that it provides you with essential knowledge in the fundamentals of finance, accounting and business. With this qualification, you can get ahead in your career faster than your peers.
The CFAB programme
The CFAB programme consists of six Knowledge Modules: Business and Finance, Management Information, Accounting, Law, Assurance, and Principles of Taxation. These are the same six Knowledge Modules in the ACA , ICAE W’s premier accounting qualification. With the CFAB in hand, you can progress to the prestigious ACA qualification if you wish to pursue a career in accounting.
Credits for the CFAB are also available to those who hold relevant qualifications. Your previous credits can be used for up to five modules. However, because it is essentially an accounting qualification, the Accounting module is compulsory for students.
Under the CFAB programme, you have the option of self-study or to receive tuition support at Sunway-TES , depending on what is best for you. The modules are completed with six computer e-assessments, which can be taken at a time which is appropriate for both you and your employer. What’s more, the CFAB can be gained within one year, so this means a quick step in your career advancement.
